FREE SAFETY CONSULTING SUPPORT
If you are a business based in Victoria, with less than 60 employees, you may be eligible for free OHS and Ergonomics consulting advice from our safety and Ergonomics professionals.
This advice is offered through a WorkSafe Victoria program called OHS Essentials – a program that allows for one of our consultants to visit your workplace (virtually if required) and help you to identify and manage foreseeable hazards, documenting the outcomes in a practical safety action plan.
Action OHS Consulting has been approved to deliver this program for the last seven years.
The program is available to small and medium-sized businesses with a WorkSafe Insurance Policy.
Take this offer up if you need support with your COVID-19 response today.
ERGONOMIC HOME OFFICE SET UP SUPPORT
Here are a few ways we have identified how we can support you, quickly and effectively:
- We can support remote home workstation assessments with your team members (especially those who are injured or experiencing aches and pains)
- We can develop video content with your brand covering consideration to sound ergonomic principles for safe work from home in terms of home workstation set up and management of psychosocial hazards and risks.
- Our consultants can run live webinar sessions with your team members to present on the above, allowing your team the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual, customised support and guidance.
- We can provide access to our Online Training: Safe Workstation Setup so that your workers can access this size at home, and the results can be easily fed back through to you.
PANDEMIC PLANNING & MANAGEMENT
If you do not have a Risk Management Plan – with an explicit focus on COVID-19 – in place yet, this should be an immediate focus. Pandemic planning adopts a risk management approach and is vital for any business given the current circumstances.
Our team can advise you with respect to what should be considered. Examples include:
- Risk Management Plan – COVID-19
- Emergency Preparedness
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan
- Risk Register – Operational and Enterprise
OCCUPATIONAL ALLIED HEALTH SERVICES
A big consideration for your team, if working from home or otherwise, is the risk of sustaining a musculoskeletal (i.e. soft tissue injury) and/or psychological injury.
Our AHPRA registered Allied Health Professionals can deliver ‘virtual’ health care visits with your workers if they are experiencing pain or discomfort, associated with work-related incidents.
ADVISORY OHS SUPPORT & SECONDMENTS
We have heard from many of our clients that they have been overwhelmed with emergency response call outs in the push to manage positive tests to COVID-19 in their workplace and implement appropriate risk management practices as swiftly as possible.
Furthermore, we are aware that the management of more general health and safety practices still need to be addressed in the background. For this reason, you might consider our advisory support and secondment services.
Our team of safety and ergonomics professionals can pick up the work that you have had to put aside. Alternatively, we can support you in your COVID-19 risk management and emergency response protocols.
We are ready to deploy our highly skilled consultants whenever you are.
