Our virtual workstation assessment has been introduced to support the recent changes in work practices. This assessment is directed at workers who have a pre-existing injury or medical diagnosis.
For every ergonomic assessment completed, workers are advised by the ergonomics consultant on what the key setup principles are, to ensure that they are able to manage their workstation posture following the assessment.
What you can expect:
- To ensure that the assessment is meaningful, prior to the video consultation we will request a photo of the home workstation, to ensure that all equipment is available prior to the consultation taking place.
- On receipt of this photo, our assessor will review and provide direction on the everyday household items that they should have access to, following the review of the photo. At this time we will schedule the assessment.
- The ergonomic assessment will be conducted via our video conference software (or via FaceTime). The individual assessments will take 30 minutes in duration.
